Czech Republic: Mestansky pivovar Strakonice posts Kc3.4milion profit in 2005
Czech brewer Mestansky pivovar Strakonice made a profit of Kc3.4 million last year on sales worth Kc95.4 million, the company's managers told journalists June 01, CTK communicated the same day.
Beer output fell by 4 percent to 73,000 hectolitres against a 12-percent decline the previous years. Mestansky was a state-run company until end-2004 when it was taken over by the Strakonice municipality.
The Strakonice brewery celebrated the 350th anniversary in 1999. The issues brands like 8° pale Nektar, 9° Silver, 10° pale Nektar Gold, 10° dark Nektar, 11° pale lagerbeer Nektar, a 12° pale lagerbeer Strakonický Dudák.
